Today I visited Port - Vendres, a stones throw from Spain. It was like living inside a postcard. Below are a few of the sights and people.

The city of Perpignan is nestled in the south of France, cornered by the Pyrenees mountains and the Mediterranean Sea. We were lucky to find anything open on Sunday night. Everything shuts down in France. The streets are empty, almost haunted. A husband and wife owner opened up their doors and even welcomed me into to their kitchen. We enjoyed an evening of great conversation and locally sourced food and wine.
I took a walk near our hotel and came across Perpignan's renaissance festival. The participants were so friendly and showed me around. Below are three portraits I made.
