For those of you who don't know, this year I started as Edible New Orleans magazine's creative director and photographer. It has been an amazing experience to visually connect readers to culinary stories through my photography and direction. I am proud to announce that our third issue , Edible New Orleans Winter 2014, is hitting shelves this weekend.
For this issue I had the opportunity to visit Charles Poirier (see cover photo above) who crafts cane syrup the same way people were making it over a hundred years ago. I also made my way into the kitchen of one of my favorite people in the world, my good friend Mrs. Leah Chase (right side photo above). Chef Frank Brigtsen gave us a sneak peak at this years Reveillon dinner, and it is epic. I have had such a good time working on this issue and I hope you enjoy it!
