I took an unexpected step back into the Art Deco era of design and architecture with a trip to this 1931 jewelery store turned restaurant in downtown Alexandria. While exploring the downtown area, a beautiful gatsbyesque Auburn 852 Speedster parked in front of the restaurant caught my eye. The whole scene was too perfect to pass up. The interior matched my hopes and held a few surprises. Photos follow.
