Making A Splash

I love photographing liquids.  I was shooting the new drink menu for a client, Peppers Pizzeria, and ended up at the wine section.  Originally we shot a glass of wine with the bottle in the background.  It looked good and I was getting tired, but I wanted to try a pour.  The result of the fifth take is below.  In food photography, like everything else, it is important to press on.  You may end up with something you didn't expect.
